Hola! I am so glad you stopped by. I am the Founder and CEO of JR Marketing & PR, a small marketing agency I founded in 2020 with a mission to help small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. After 8+ years working in the marketing field, I decided it was time pursue my passion of owning my own marketing agency. I strongly believe everyone has a fire within them, if only we listened and unleashed it. I believe in your superpower. When we work together, I’ll help you unleash it! Are you ready? Vamos!
I was born where palm trees way and caribbean beaches thrive
I am from the little island known as the Dominican Republic and moved to North Carolina just in time for High School. By moving from one country to another, I learned about the power of change and culture. I am passionate about storytelling and have written a few novels in my lifetime, one of which I am working on getting published.
I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. My passion for writing and problem-solving led me to this field and I have been doing this for over 8 years now. Time flies!
I’ve worked for several companies over the years leading the marketing efforts, including Girl Scouts – NC Coastal Pines, Kay Yow Cancer Fund, Carolina Small Business Development Fund, and others.
I thoroughly enjoy working for small businesses and I can’t wait to help you grow your business by telling your story! I’m always searching for ways to excel professionally, which is why I wanted to put my skills to good use and open my freelance business, JR Marketing & PR. Let’s work together!
